how is this this possible that the unrealized gains? which one is correct? sometimes when i trade and close the ninjatrader desktop im supposed to make money but i dont. ninjatrader desktop is slower than the web?

Unrealized PnL is calculated using the position price and last traded price. The position price is the same, but the last traded price is different (1 tick).

I suspect you experience a chart rendering issue in NinjaTrader Desktop which causes the last traded price to be received delayed.

Can you please select the instrument in question in a SuperDOM to compare the last traded price in the SuperDOM with the last traded price in the chart. If the last traded price is different in the SuperDOM than in the chart, it indicates a chart rendering issue. The chart has too many indicators or add-ons applied that request too much PC resources, which in turn causes the last traded price to be received delayed.

You could also compare the last traded price in the chart with the bid and ask prices in ChartTrader. The bid and ask price of ChartTrader are not affected if you experience a chart rendering issue, only the last traded price in the chart.

I suggest to create a brand new chart for the MES 03-24 without a chart template. I assume the last traded price in this new chart is in synch with the last traded price in the SuperDOM. Then add indicators and add-ons that are normally applied one by one. Check each time if the chart still receives last traded price as expected by comparing it to the last traded price in a SuperDOM.
