How to add imported historical data to Strategy Analyzer?

Hi,
I have imported new historical data under a free name "NQ" as can be seen in the screenshot. However, I cannot find it in Strategy Analyzer to do testing with it. How can it be added there?

Hello philmg,

Can you please left click in the Instrument field under Data Series in the Strategy Analyzer. Hit Backspace on your keyboard. Then type "NQ" and hit Enter on your keyboard (or select the instrument from the list).

If you like to add the instrument to an instrument list, please perform the steps below.

• Go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Lists.
• Click the instrument list on the left side.
• Click add on the right.
• Type NQ and hit Enter on your keyboard.
