ADD and VOLD

I am <24 hours newbie in NT8 (Desktop). I have searched for $ADD in instruments, found it but nothing coming up on chart. I have searched this forum and found 2 suggestions for indicators. I have downloaded them and still nothing coming up.

I'm pretty sure there is no VOLD type index here now. Shouldn't $ADD work though? Am I missing a data plan?

I am on simulator for now if that makes a difference.

Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums, and thank you for your post.

Historical and live data completely depends on the market data provider - you subtly mentioned "I am on a simulator", is this NinjaTrader Brokerage's 14 day trial? If so, I would not expect this market data to be available, as this data feed is meant for futures instruments only.
