suddenly frozen and shutdown

Hi NT Support,

so when i ever scroll back chart or open tick charts the platform sort of break down and suddenly freezing then shutting down or sometimes without freezing it shuts down.

how to solve this annoying issue, notice on nt7 i never saw this issue !

Yes, please send your log and trace files right from the platform.

If the platform crashes and you are not able to do so, please follow the steps below to email us your log and trace files to support[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com.

• Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader folder
• Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
• Please click this Blue text to see a video demonstration of how to send these files

yes this is better option zipped log and trace then email. because once nt8 crashes and shut down it closed. thanks for the feedback. i will email the support

Do you have any 3rd party indicators? Because changing to a tick chart is probably forcing Ninjascript recalculation and maybe causing it to freeze. Or the indicators can't calculate for tick type charts.
