Simulation connection

Have you removed the ability to control price action in the simulation connection ie the slider?
I have 2 computers and neither one shows it in the latest iteration of NT8.

Hello Mindset,

No, we did not remove the Trend Slider for the Simulated Data Feed.

Can you please shut down NinjaTrader Desktop and navigate to Documents-->NinjaTrader 8. Delete the UI.xml file. Start NinjaTrader Desktop and check if you see the Trend Slider once connected to the Simulated Data Feed connection.

Yes I tried on both.No change.
I also can't add simulation accounts.
This is all from a reinstall from about 2 weeks ago.

Could it be you are connected to the connection named "Simulation" and not "Simulated Data Feed"? The "Simulation" connection does not have a Trend Slider. It provides actual market data unlike the Simulated Data Feed.

Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->General and enable the "Multi-provider" option. Click OK and restart NinjaTrader Desktop. You should now have the "Simulated Data Feed" present at Control Center-->Connections and be able to select 'Add Simulation Account' when you right click in the Control Center-->Accounts-tab.

Thanks. Got it - didn't realise simulation wasn't simulated data feed.
All sorted.
Extra Sim accounts have now turned up as well of course.
