bracketed flatten position hot key

i noticed when i went from 4 to 6 contracts and close position on the chart trader i get horrible fills. i can do it with 4 fine. i have two profit targets one tick from each other so when it hits the profit targets its not a problem. its only when i close the position before the targets are met. is there way to have a hot key for close position that does a staggered or bracketed close?

Hello,

There is no direct hot key for an action such as this, but you can review all order entry hot key options under Tools>Hot Keys. You may be able to utilize one or several of these actions to closely simulate what you are attempting to do depending on your trading preferences and strategy.

sweet. many thanks for the reply. i'm familiar with the hot keys. i use them on buy and sell market. is there a way to do a partial close with the hot key?

Hello,

You would need to adjust the quantity of the order manually before using hot keys to scale in/out. Unfortunately there is no way to have hot keys automatically close a partial of a particular position without manually setting the quantity first.
