candle open price

i am gettine diffrent opening prices for the 5m, 15m, 1m candles, ex- today jan 4 2024 on MNQH4 at 9:30a i am getting opening price of - 1m; 16452.50, 5m; 16452, 15m; 16467. why is this?

Thank you for the message.

Please make sure that each chart has:

• The same Number of "Days to load"
• Is using the same "Trading Hours Template"
• Has the "Break EOD" box checked
• Is the same instrument and contract

When I tested this in my platform, the Open for all 3 time intervals lined up as expected and show as 4750.00

Clayton, i can confirm all charts are configured the same as you suggest, this does not fix the issue.

Thank you for the message.

My prior response was only specific to the very first bar that is plotted in each chart for that session.

• When the markets reopen, that is the only bar that all of the different time frame charts would line up on.
• After that, we wouldn't expect them to line up again until the open of the next day

NinjaTrader draws bars at the Close of the bar. Not open. Please see the image below for more elaboration on how this affects the OHLC values:
