    hi

    connected NT8 to IB but the balance is showing as 0 in the live account?

    Hello Irukandji,

    Can you please tell me what TWS or Gateway version you have installed.

    Does it make a difference if you disconnect/reconnect the Interactive Brokers connection in NinjaTrader Desktop or if you both restart NinjaTrader Desktop and TWS/Gateway?

    When was the last time your Interactive Brokers account showed "Cash value" as expected in the Control Center-->Accounts-tab?

      the latest of TWS and NT8 - new pc, new install of evrything

      TWS build: 10.26.1j

      i restart everything every day

      never seen cash value correct since new install on new pc

          Can you please download and install TWS 10.23.2a and check if the issue persists. You can download it from the Interactive Brokers connection guide at the link below under 'Requirements'.

            ok done all that, uninstalled latest, installed older version, re-done the connection etc, restarted the pc.

            still showing zero balance.,

              Did you check your account balance thru the IB web site? You should probably verify your acct wasn't hacked.

                    Can you please right click the account in the Control Center-->Accounts-tab and select 'Edit Account'. Set 'Denomination' to the currency that is setup for your account at Interactive Brokers. Click OK. Disconnect/re-connect the Interactive Brokers connection in NinjaTrader Desktop and check if you see your account balance.

                      Yep that was it, thanks. Shame it took a week to work it out, but that was it.
