Workspace "save as" eliminates strategies

I have a Workspace defined, with several charts, each of which has a strategy. Within the Workspaces menu, if I select "Save As", NT creates the new Workspace file, but then eliminates all strategies from the current Workspace and saves that.

I noticed that too. I found the SQLite Databases in \Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db store the Strategies used by a Workspace, and the Workspace Name is the database key to retrieve them.

So once you "save as" to a different Workspace Name, the associated strategies get saved with the new workspace.

The old workspace however is stripped of all strategies.
