Account PnL Realtime Update

When connecting brokers other than NinjaTrader brokerage, my account unrealized pnl in the Accounts tab does not update until the trade is closed.

Even though my account is in live positions but Unrealized PnL shows as 0 however if I go to my Positions tab I can see the open positions profit.

I have seen this with Interactive Brokers and Advantage futures.

When I connect a NinjaTrader account using Continuum then yes the unrealized pnl in the accounts tab updates in realtime.

Is there some account realtime pnl switch that has to be turned on?

It is expected that the PnL in the accounts tab will only update once the position has closed. The information in the Accounts tab is sent by your broker through the underlying connection technology. Each underlying technology sends certain Accounts tab information.

Ah ok so CQG/Continuum Connection with Advantage brokers doesn't send unrealized pnl data through the underlying connection technology?

I'm not sure what comes from Advantage Brokers' underlying technology, this would be a great question for their support team. This would, however, explain why the PnL does not update until the trade has been closed.
