Custom backrest type?

Is it possible to develop a custom backrest type for Strategy Analyzer?

I'd like to try to build one that does a rough run, then in 2 or 3 steps (ex. Step 1. Up to 20 runs on each setting, step 2, up to 20 runs on each setting using the spread of the 2 surrounding the best case on step 1, step 3.same method as step 2 but using best of step 2...), maybe even with an option outputting the results to a csv or something for reference. I think it could help hone in on ideal settings a bit faster than manually doing so.

If this isn't possible, can I make a suggestion to add something like this? I understand it's not perfect and might miss the ideal settings entirely, but it could reduce the user invested time to get to some usable settings.

It is not supported to create a custom Backtest Type to use with the Strategy Analyzer in NinjaTrader.

I have submitted your feature request to the Development team to support creating custom Backtest Types to use in the Strategy Analyzer.
