    Logging to NinjaTrader on a desktop app

    While logging to NinjaTrader on a desktop app on a Windows 11 64 bit version with a version beyond Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 with all the latest Windows updates
    • the desktop app brings an error message about invalid character or parameter ("Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: e. Path '', line 0, position 0") But the web version of NinjaTrader works well
    • When the program was uninstalled, installing the program both NinjaTrader version 8 and NinjaTrader version 7 the error message about cab1.cab corrupt or missing ninja trader or network error. We made a Download Microsoft Safety Scanner 64-bit and ran a scan of the computer and no virus was found.
    • We downoaded the NinjaTrader .msi file from Microsoft Edge but the download was blocked despite temporarily disabling Windows Security threat protection and we verified that Windows Security Firewall allowed NinjaTrader traffic for both public and private networks. In addition, https://ninjatrader.com was added in the trusted sites through Windows Control Panel> Internet Options > Security Tab > Trusted Site > Then added the Site in Trusted but with no result.

    Hello jeandamour,

    Can you please send me an email at "platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com" that includes the username & password you enter in the Log In window and log & trace files. Put 'Att Jason, 04189349' in the subject field of the email.
    • Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E). Then navigate to the "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Attach the zipped folders in your email
    • Once complete, you can delete these zipped folders
    Are you able to download NinjaTrader Desktop if you try a different web browser?
