Back testing problem

Encountered a weird problem. When backtesting my strat from 2021-2023 (15 min bars) on NT feed I get all the trades shown for the entire time period if I have checked the "Exit on Close" box. Whenever I don't have that checked I only get trades for 2021 years. I checked everything, no trade is being dragged over to current time. My strat has a very simple exit, so that should not be a problem. Has anyone been experiencing something like that? Please, advise
