Unhandled exception when trying to add an instrument

When I try to add a new stock symbol or do a futures rollover, I get the following pop-up:

"Unhandled exception: attempt to write a readonly database
attempt to write a readonly database"

If I exit Ninjatrader and go to my Documents>Ninjatrader 8 >db folder and delete the sqlite file, and then restart Ninjatrader, I can add the symbols.

Do I have to delete this sqlite database every day or is there another way?

Thank you for posting.

You should not be required to create a new database each time. Please close NinjaTrader then within the db folder please right click on the NinjaTrader.sqlite file->Properties->Uncheck "Read-only" then click Ok then open NinjaTrader.

That attribute has always been unchecked.

I just tried to do that and got an error message;

"There was an error sending a mail message. An error occurred while attempting to establish an SSL or TLS connection."

My mail app is eM Client and a new message pops up with the subject line and the forum link , but no attachments. If you tell me where those log and trace files are, I'll attach them manually and send the message.
