There is no Rithmic connection, just the Rithmic Connection to NinjaTrader Brokerage

In older NT version, you have a Rithmic Connection as well as a Rithmic Connection to NinjaTrader Brokerage. I have to reinstall NT. Now, the only Rithmic Connection is Rithmic Connection to NinjaTrader Brokerage. My Rithmic acct is with another brokerage. What can I do to get NT connected to my Rithmic acct?

Can you please import your license key that is enabled for "Rithmic" in the Account Dashboard as per the link below.

Log into NinjaTrader Desktop with the same username and password as the Account Dashboard and you should have "Rithmic" present in the Available box when creating a new connection.

I don't have that key or any key. I just downloaded the free NT.

Unfortunately it is not supported to connect to "Rithmic" in NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1 if you don't have a live license key that is setup for "Rithmic".

I assume you had NinjaTrader Desktop 8.0 before. You can perform an uninstall of NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1 and reinstall of NinjaTrader Desktop 8.0 using the instructions below.

You will save all settings and data including your charts and indicators. They are saved at Documents-->NinjaTrader 8 which is not deleted when you uninstall NinjaTrader in Windows.

• Make sure NinjaTrader Desktop is shut down.
• Uninstall NinjaTrader Desktop via Windows start menu-->Settings-->Apps.
• Download and install NinjaTrader Desktop 8.0.28.0 as per the link below. You can find version 8.0.28.0 on the right under 'Prior Releases'.
