Trading multiple FX pairs using NT8?

hello

how can we "trade from the charts" multiple fx pairs at the same time? do we have to use the single chart screen and keep changing the pair symbol we are looking at from the dropdown menu? thanks.

Thank you for the message.

Yes, that is the way you would trade multiple instruments from the same window.

If you have a chart with multiple instruments on it, you can select which instrument orders are placed to by selecting it in the "Instrument" drop-down menu within the Chart Trader Panel.

There is no default order replication or trade copier within the NinjaTrader platform. You would have to manually submit your orders to each of the different instruments.

so i found there is actually a template for forex which has an fx pairs grid showing about 12 fx pairs.

i don't need to see the fx pairs as a grid wit flashing lights tell me the price movement.

can i make a watchlist which simply has the fx pairs grouped in the order i want them? and when i click on one, it will change the chart to that ticker/ and then let me "trade from the chart" on that pair?

Thank you for the message.

You could configure your own Market Analyzer or FX Board with your desired instruments, then use the "Instrument Link" to connect it with your chart.

• Then, when you click on one of the instruments from the list, it would switch any linked windows to that instrument as well.

problem is - i open NT8 wit my usual ES setup, then i clicked on worskspaces and chose the FX one, tweaked it a bit, and when i wanted to save te layout, it asks me if I want to save over my ES layout - no! I want both! as they are!

Hover over the specific workspace in the Workspaces menu > Click save as > and then give it a unique name and save that.
