Trying to use version 8.0.26.1

Hi, hope everyone is well there. I've been having trouble with my screen freezing in a manner discussed on this forum elsewhere - https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...8-0-27-1/page2 - looked like a work around is to use a previous version of NT - 8.0.26.1 - I uninstalled the up to date version I had, installed version 8.0.26.1 but can not get it to run. When I try to open it it gives me the option/warning of using this old version and when I click the option to continue the window closes and nothing happens. Is it not possible to run this version?

As this version of NinjaTrader was released over 1 1/2 years ago, we generally suggest against a downgrade.

This will reintroduce known errors and can also keep you from connecting to specific providers.
