Prop Trading - how to remove simulated stops

    Hi there,

i use ninjatrading with Prop Trading Accounts. Since now i had no problems.

But today i have an orange stop in my chart and i cannot get rid of it, whatever i try - flatten, close in Chart, in Chart Trader, Dom etc. Normally simulated accounts can be reset, when there is sth. similar. Prop Trading Accounts cannot be resetted. Additionally reconnect or adding a new connection also does not do the trick

In the broker account there is everything flat, but Ninjatrader does not get it. .

So when you have an idea, i would be glad to here it.

    Thank you.

    Hello TribunM,

The order will be removed the next trading day after a reset of the servers. Can you please perform a restart of NinjaTrader Desktop the next trading day. If you still show the order, let me know.

Thank you for your fast reply. So there is really no option to do it manually? I really like the ninjatrader, but this is sth. i do not understand...

You could try renaming the database.
        • Shut down NinjaTrader Desktop
        • Navigate to the Documents--> NinjaTrader 8--> db folder
        • Right click on NinjaTrader.sqlite and select "Rename". Name it NinjaTraderOld.sqlite
        • Start NinjaTrader Desktop and connect to your account.
The following items stored in the old database are not present anymore in NinjaTrader Desktop - custom instrument lists/custom instruments and historical trade execution data.

If the order is still displayed, it is loaded from the account connection. It should be removed the next trading day.

You can restore the old database as follows.
        • Shut down NinjaTrader Desktop
        • Delete the NinjaTrader.sqlite file in the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8-->db folder
        • Rename the database you named NinjaTraderOld.sqlite back to NinjaTrader.sqlite
        • Start NinjaTrader Desktop and it will use the old database
NinjaTrader Desktop uses the .sqlite file that is named "NinjaTrader" within the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8-->db folder. If no NinjaTrader.sqlite file exists in the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8-->db folder, then it will automatically create a NinjaTrader.sqlite file when NinjaTrader Desktop is started.

Nothing worked till the server was resetted in the night. It would be nice to have on option to force ninjatrader to cancel all that stops.
