Anyone Use NT8 for Spread Betting with a UK Broker?

Hello gaz0001,
Thank you for your inquiry and for using NinjaTrader!
It would be possible to trade spot forex within the UI of the platform using a supported forex broker, such as FXCM. However, spread betting would be something that you'd need to contact the broker for more information about.
I'll leave the discussion open for any members of the forum community to chime in.Zachary S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

FXCM supports spreadbetting in Ninjatrader. You just need to open a Spreadbetting account with them, and then trade the CFD instruments within Ninjatrader. When you place your trades you're trading a quantity "Per-point value". So if you enter a trade for a quantity of "3" its $3 per point.
However. Don't expect to get a professional account with FXCM. I applied 3 times, and despite meeting the "professional" criteria with two other brokers FXCM kept turning me down.

Thanks for the info.
It's something that I am considering in the future.
As you know, Spread Betting is Tax free in the UK.
Shame that there is only one company integrated into the NT8 platform. FXCM are not the most reputable Spread Betting /CFD firm in the region.

I had exactly the same experience with FXCM. I was accepted for a professional account with CityIndex, but every time I applied for FXCM they refused my application. They wanted job references for a company I worked for 10 years ago... The company doesn't exist any more so I couldn't get them.
I came to the conclusion that they don't really want traders who are professional status. I think its because they use a non-dealing desk model for professional traders. So your trades go out to the market maker. But for non-professional traders FXCM take the other side of your trade... If they deem you to be a consistent loser they will just take your money - your losses go straight into their pocket. If you're a winner they will place your trades in the market. But by having keeping you as non-professional they have the option to do either.
They were banned from doing business in the USA due to shady practices.

It's something to consider if you're looking for more advanced features and lower fees.

However, in my opinion, there are more modern online gambling games such as https://topcasinosreviews.in/casino/lucky-spins-review/ which I have been playing for several months now. The most interesting thing is that playing in an online casino can be not only a source of entertainment but also a way to make money if you approach it wisely and responsibly. Use the recommendations of reviews, choose reliable sites and follow a gaming strategy based on knowledge and experience.

It's always exciting to explore new avenues for trading, especially with a dynamic market like spread betting.
