I'm trying to trade two contracts on the chart trader. And, I'm trying to figure out how to have 1 contract cash in profit at a profit target of 40 ticks. Then, have 1 contract keep going with a trailing stop. Is this possible on chart trader?

Yes this is possible from the Chart Trader with ATM templates.

What you are looking for is a Trailing stop order, where after certain targets are hit, your Stop loss "moves" in order to break even and lock in profit.
