Interactive Brokers Connection Feed Stability

I've recently opened an Interactive Brokers account for stock trading.
I am currently using their data feed but will move to an alternate provider later on as their data offering is somewhat limited.

Meanwhile, I have their data feed configured for historical and Realtime for stocks. I am running into multiple "flakey" issues:

-Charts sometimes just " loading..." and never returning data
-Long waits for data to be brought into charts, several minutes sometimes.
-Missing last days data, when requested intermittently
-requesting more historical data than available results in hangs - 100% of the time
- whenever there is a chart hang in NT, I check TWS and there is no problem interacting with their data or account related, so the problem seems to be local between NT and TWS
-Regular "data feed connection lost" and "data feed connection reestablished" verbal warnings on the TWS side, but rarely is the same issue reported on the NT side. Please note, I do have some intermittent connectivity issues with my ISP at present, which typically last between 3-10 seconds and occur several times per day.

I see ongoing similar issues reported on this forum.

I currently have:

NT 8.1.2.0 and TWS build 10.192G

What versions are the most stable to use presently?
Are there any configuration issues that I should check on?

I also use your data source, leaving aside its quality, and without analyzing other problems. If you operate with assets outside your country, make sure you configure your trading hours well.
