Ninja Trader - IB or GFF from Canada?

I am trying to connect my Apex/Ninja Trader account with a Canadian broker. I am new at this to any help is appreciated. Which one is better in commissions and more user friendly; GFF or IB?
Do I then need to sign up for lifetime $99 monthly with Ninjatrader, monthly apex funded account plus brokerage? Did I get all the steps in? Once I have all three and connected, I am good to go? I was using Ninjatrader with Apex in SIM and found it easy to use.

Regarding commissions, we do recommend reaching out to the brokers individually to get a better idea of what commissions are available to you and what would best suit your needs.

As far as NinjaTrader goes, if you'd like to trade a live account whether GFF or IB, you will need the MultiBroker add-on that is listed here:

This will allow you to trade a live account, whether GFF or IB.

Thank you for responding. So basically I need to register for Apex Funded accounts then Ninjatrader - add on multibroker mode then open up IB account and connect the three? Is there a guide on connecting IB to Ninjatrader? Which version should I download? I was reading there were some issues with connectivity with IB? Have they been resolved?

You would want to attempt to open an account with IB beforehand, just in case your account is not approved, and you're now stuck with a subscription you cannot use.

So long as you use the correct version listed in the guide, you'll be all set.

Hello again. So my account with IB was approved and apex is fine with free Ninja license. Now I am trying to upgrade Ninja to purchase the $99 multibroker license key and its not recognizing Canada as a country it supports. Can you please tell me how to add the multibroker license to my existing lined account with apex
