Historical Data Not Loading

I am trying to load 15min candlestick data going back to 2010 on SPY. The chart loads about 2 months of 15min data and that's all I get. My connection is TDAmeritrade. I checked the logs and there's no message saying why my data is not loading. Please advise?

Thank you for your post.

This can be expected as TD Ameritrade limits the amount of Historical minute data to about 50 days.

A workaround would be to use a separate data feed connection that provides more historical data.

Thanks Spencer. For future reference, how can I find out the data limitation for myself? I tried another broker connection (Forex.com) and got the same result -- no more than 1 month of 15min data. I've been able to load minute data from this broker in the past without issue, so I'm not sure what's wrong now. By the way, the link you provided is not working.

You may reach out to TD Ameritrade directly for more information on their historical data limitations as they will have all the available information.

For your Forex.com connection, you may enable the option to use the NinjaTrader Historical Data servers to obtain more historical data within the connection settings.

The historical data server option did not resolve the issues. I'm still only able to view about one month of data. It seems as if the data is getting loaded internally, but just not visible on the chart. I say that because if I request more data the "loading" takes longer, but when it finishes loading the data is not on the chart.

UPDATE: Restarting the software resolved this issue.
