    Enter / Exit Issue

    Hello

    Today I had an issue with my enter and exit when reports were released. I am using a strategy that was supposed to enter 3 ticks above the previous candle and exit only 4 ticks after it.
    in the image, I've marked the candle that I'm talking about, instead of exiting after 4 ticks it got out after 32 ticks. This is with the practice account. is this an issue that could have also happened in the live account?

    So we may accurately assist, is the "Strategy" in question an ATM Strategy or is this a custom NinjaScript strategy?

    If this is a custom NinjaScript strategy, did you program the strategy yourself?

    Or, was this programmed by a third-party developer?

      It is a custom Ninja Script strategy that I've created and tested many times, this never happened before

        Thanks for that clarification.

        Please write in to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with a brief description of your inquiry and attach your log and trace files to your email so we may look into this matter further.

        In the subject of the email include "Attn: BrandonH" and in the body of your email include a link to this forum thread.

        Also, please provide us with the Order ID number of the order in question and the time the order occurred.

        Follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response.
        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.​
