Newbie help to set up platform

I just downloaded NT. When I open it, it opens up 5 separate windows.

Can someone please post a link to how to set up NT using the NJ current release, ie start with 5 windows?

All tutorials I found seem to be old. I really want to learn NJ but it's a PAIN to set up.
