Simulated Data Feed not printing to chart

On the latest NT8.1.2.1 the Simulated data feed is not printing candles to the chart.

Today is Saturday.

It's the weekend.

What you're seeing is (most likely) expected behavior.

In order for the 'Simulated Data Feed' to work on weekends,
you have to set each chart's Trading hours to 'Default 24x7'.

Even for the default simulated data connection in the connections menu, that imitates a live market?

The bid/ask are changing as though there's live data on the trading panel but it wasn't doing anything on the chart.

The simulated data feed is a randomly generated data feed that can be used for testing strategy functionality. It is not reflective of live market prices in any way.

I understand that and that being the case, why does it not print candles on the chart while outside of defined market hours? Can this be configured when Simulated Data Feed is used so that it allows candles to print without altering normal charted candles within regular market hours?

Hello,

This is due to the trading hours template applied to the chart. You will want to right click the chart, select 'data series' and change the 'trading hours' option to Default 24x7.
