crosshair changes and cant control chart trader

Hello anyone experience this. I have a regular arow icon for mouse but when enter into the chart trader area it turns to this icon and clicking anywhere in chart trader does nothing. But the mouse works as normal when in the chart area and is normal icon for mouse.

To quickly test does the same happen on a duplicated chart?

To do this please right-click on the 'Chart' in the top left corner of the window and select 'Duplicate'.

Hello Spencer,
No it works as normal if I duplicate the chart like you suggested.
What does that mean? Does that tell us what is causing it on the original chart?

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, there would not be a way to tell what occurred but your original chart appears to become corrupted in some way.

I would recommend leaving the new chart and removing the original and ensuring you save your workspace to keep the new chart.
