Strategy analyzer bug after running walk-forward optimization

Very strange thing: If I run a walk-forward optimization on a strategy, and then make a change to it, I have to re-load the walk-forward template in order to insert walk-forward parameters. It does not allow me to type in ";" to give min,max,range values. This only happens on some strategies though, and I have no idea why as the defaults settings looks the same. Do you know why this is and how I can fix it?

This was reported for prior releases of NT8 and has been marked as corrected in the latest release.

May I confirm you have updated to 8.1.2.0 and you are still able to reproduce?

NinjaTrader_ChelseaB I will update and test. This does not happen always, only from time to time, but it is quite annoying when it does. Can you confirm that there was done changes to fix this issue in 8.1.2.1 compared to 8.1.2.0?

I am not able to reproduce. Please confirm using the exact steps shown in the video that the behavior is different than what is shown in the video.

NinjaTrader_ChelseaB I still have the issue in 8.1.2.1. It happens when I walk-forward optimize a series of different strategies. I toggle optimize data series on and off frequently. I can't reproduce repeatedly if I close and re-open the strategy analyzer. It just happens, but it happens quite frequently - if I test 10 strategies or so back-to-back it almost certainly happens at some point.

Can you reproduce with the SampleMACrossover?

How many times did you run the test on the SampleMACrossover before the behavior occurred?

(This lets us know if it's an issue with your custom script, or an issue with the platform)
