I'm needing some help understanding what happened in the attached clip here so I know if I did something wrong and how to mitigate it going forward.
I was logged into a live connection on NQ on a simulated demo account and entered a short for 1 contract. A few seconds later I entered a 2nd short for an additional contract and within 1-2 seconds moved my position stop to breakeven using the Breakeven Position Hotkey (not the Breakeven ATM Strategy hotkey). When my position had its stop hit, only one contract closed while the other remained opened and I had to manually close the remaining contract.
Here is the strategy info that was used:
My expectation (and behavior I've seen in the past) was that both contracts would be closed and I may incur some slippage if there were not enough buyers at that price - is this incorrect? I've attached the relevant log file info from the event. Please let me know if any additional information would be helpful!
Thank you!
