    Data not loaded with "tick replay" active and when market is closed

    Hi,

    I am trying to open ES DEC23 chart (30 minutes candles) with tick replay option enabled. Currently the market is closed (Saturday morning in Europe). When creating a new chart with tick replay enabled, after "loading tick data" I see the following:

    Whereas if I unckeck tick replay in creating the chart I get

    The only thing that changes here is this tick replay option shown below: when it is checked i do not see any data loaded. If it is unchecked I see candles. Is this a bug? How can I solve this problem (because I need tick replay turned on in my case.. and I would like it to work also when the market is closed)?

    Hello VFI26,

    Can you please try the steps below.
    • Shut down NinjaTrader Desktop and navigate to the following folder.
    • Documents-->NinjaTrader 8-->db folder.
    • Delete the "cache" folder that is within the "db" folder.
    The db-->cache folder is used to quickly load data, so the first time you load historical data after deleting the db-->cache folder, it will take longer to load than usual.

    Start NinjaTrader and check if data is loaded when 'Tick Replay' is enabled. If not initially, please right click in the chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'.


    If the issue remains, please send me an email from within NinjaTrader Desktop as per the instructions below.
    • Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support
    • Set the To field to Platform Technical Support
    • Enter "Att Jason, 04143771" in the "Subject" field
    • Enter any text under 'Please enter any information that you feel will help us resolve your inquiry'.
    • Make sure "Log and trace files" is enabled
    • Click Send
