    Error connecting to FXCM

    Hello,

    I am trying to connect to FXCM with a newly created account.

    When connecting I receive the error message "ORA-20003".

    Any solution?

    Thank you for your note.

    We have received word regarding an issue with FXCM connections in the NinjaTrader Desktop platform. FXCM is currently investigating this item on their end for a resolution as soon as possible.

    Until then, please try removing the current FXCM connection and then setting it back up and seeing if this works:
    • Remove the Original connection:
      • Go to the Control Center > Connections > configure
      • Click the 'Configured' FXCM connection > Click remove
    • Now, set it back up:
      • Double-click FXCM in the 'Available' list to add it back in
      • Put your Username and Password back in
      • Click OK
    Now, try connecting to the account again.


    If you are still unable to connect, please reach back out to FXCM directly for more information on what is preventing the connection from being established.


    Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.​

      It still doesn't work after removing and setting again the connection. I will wait for FXCM to fix it.

        Hi,
        I have deleted the existing FXCM connection thinking that there might be an issue on my side. When try to create a new connection I cant find the "FXCM" in the connection available list.
        I'm using the 8.0.28.0 Version.
        Can you please advise how to get the FXCM connection back in the list ?

          Hello MohammadR,

          Thank you for the message.

          If you are not seeing the "FXCM" connection within the 8.0.28.0 platform after entering your License Key, you will have to update to the 8.1 platform to see the FXCM Connection again.
          • Login into your NinjaTrader Account Dashboard
          • Click "Download" in the bottom left-hand corner of the sidebar
          • Select "Download" in the "Most Recent Release" section
          • Once the installation is downloaded, ensure any previous version of NinjaTrader is closed before running the installation package.
          After completing the installation, you can log into the platform using the same username and password as your NinjaTrader Account Dashboard.
          • Note: Updating NinjaTrader Desktop will not affect any custom configurations, workspaces, or add-ons.
          • A visual walkthrough of the update process may be found here in our Help Center.
          Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

            As per your instruction I have sent the email to support with my license id. Hopefully I would get the resolution soon

              The connection to fxcm has been interrupted for a week and has been interrupted several times in the last few weeks. NT is not suitable for FXCM
