NT charts only update price a few times per second

Why do the charts in NT only update a few times per second and not live?

It you pull up the DOM, you will see there are maybe 10-20+ updates every second, but in the chart, it's only updated a few times per second.

I also looked at a competitors product and it not only updates live, (instead of a few per second), but the price is updated quicker than NT's (although, probably due to the polling).

Is there a way to get live and not polled data in the charts, similar to the DOM?

masilver - there is a long and painful history to this. The chart refresh rate in NT7 used to be default 100ms and User configurable. In NT8 Development unilaterally decided to change this - hard-coded at 250ms.
Immediately many Users noticed the difference and found it to be unsatisfactory, unsuitable for their needs and slower than competing Platforms.
Thousands of posts/complaints/requests failed to get any capitulation whatsoever on this retrograde step so a User eventually circumvented by developing an Add-on to do the job.
Called ‘TickRefresh’ by hurleydood available free in the User AppShare.
I can attest to the app operating flawlessly and very ‘light’ on resources (whether it is light in use will depend on how you use it, but at least you have the choice just as you had in NT7 implementation).
