One of my favorite things about NinjaTrader is the ability to have multiple different templates for any drawing type. But it is currently very cumbersome to change templates quickly, and frustrating to not be able to specify the desired template at the time of drawing creation.
NEW FEATURE REQUEST: please make the list of drawing templates accessible in the right-click pop-up menu for any drawing.
Right now, it takes 8 clicks of the mouse to change the drawing template (1 - Select drawing, 2 - Rt. Click, 3 - Properties, 4 - Template, 5 - Load, 6 - pick from list, 7 - Load (or 2nd click in list), 8 - OK). The Drawing Objects window also pops up during this process and obscures the chart. This is all very annoying and inefficient.
If the list of drawing templates were included in the Rt.-Click Pop up menu (or even a single line item 'Templates' that led directly to the list), the number of clicks and time would be cut in half or better (1 - Select drawing, 2 - Rt. Click, 3 - Pick Template from the list). Maybe there would be an additional 1 or 2 clicks depending on whether the actual list of templates was available or just a 'Templates' line item, and if there had to be a Double-Click or an 'OK' click. But there is definitely room for significant improvement in clicks, time, chart obstruction.
Thanks for considering this feature request; I think many users would find it to be a huge improvement.
