Output window no longer automatically scrolls down in version 8.1.2.0

I noticed that in version 8.1.2.0 the output window no longer automatically scrolls down. Did I miss a new feature, or is this another new bug?

What happened here is there was a feature request for "stay on top" and a developer used ChatGPT to try to figure out how to implement it.
