    About performance tips..

    NT8 has more power in capabilities than NT7, however, it comes with a cost: memory vulnerability. Fortunately, I don't use any 3er party software or any fancy additions, just a simple strategy. So, I'd like to ask you: in my case, having a simple setup, is it still necessary or recommended to Restart Ninjatrader daily??

    I wish Ninjatrader had a simpler different version, like NT7, simply lighter, where I was not afraid of potential memory issues. All clients will be happy to work in their desired framework. For example, I don't like or use any of that fancy stuff, so why to carry such a big software when I just need a simple App to deploy a strategy? Well, still, congrats for a more complete software.

    Yes, we recommend restarting NinjaTrader daily to ensure NinjaTrader runs optimally as noted on the Performance Tips help guide page.

      Ok Brandon thanks for the reconfirmation.
      I'm sorry but I must say it: NT7 never needed this, It's memory management, from a user point of view, was always efficient and powerful. I never was afraid of memory issues.

      I wish a lighter version could be created, for straightforward strategies.. Can this be requested? I hope not finish doing my own trading platform.
