text tool

Hi, I have intermittent problems with the text tool over the past couple years, on two different computers, with two different Logitech mice, and on many different latest versions of NT
Currently and consistently I press F12 for text, but when clicking a location the insertion point appears but immediately disappears, so I'm unable to enter text
I do occasionally see extra clicks in other programs, but only when NT is running. Usually i've experienced a more intermittent problem than today
Are there any known issues please? I'm using latest NT 8.1.2.0, but also many earlier versions and on both Windows 10 and 11 operating systems. Thanks

There are no known issues regarding the Text Tool.

Upon testing on my end, I have also not been able to replicate this behavior.

Thanks Spencer. I still have same behavior persisting through reinstall. I've emailed Log and Trace files if you can see any clue please?
