TopStep Tradovate account in Ninjatrader

Hello.

Am I able to connect to a TopStep Tradovate account from Ninjatrader?

I've been told by TopStep that I need to use Rithmic for Ninjatrader, but I don't think this is correct. I think I should be able to connect with Tradovate unless there is something unique to TopStep's Tradovate accounts that makes it not compatible with Ninjatrader.

Please advise.

Hello,

On NinjaTrader, only Topstep accounts setup to use Rithmic are able to connect in the platform. Doing so though will prevent you from being able to connect your Topstep account to Tradovate's platforms however.

Ok thanks.... I will stick with Rithmic.

Just out of curiosity why is it that Apex and Tradeday are able to connect their Tradovate accounts via Ninjatrader and not TopStep?

I'd advise reaching out to Topstep in regards to their accounts connection compatibility with NinjaTrader and any plans to change this in the future.
