    Candles are ahead of time

Hey there, I have a 5 min chart of MNQ and for some weird reason the candles are shifted 5 mins ahead. I don't know what could have caused this. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

    Hello terribletrader,

Thank you very much for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

NinjaTrader Desktop draws candles at the close. This means the 6:55 PM candle would include the data from 6:50:01 to 6:55:00, before closing and starting the 7:00 candle at 6:55:01 PM. Is it possible this would explain the discrepancy?

Please don't hesitate to let me know, should you have any further questions!

Thanks for the fast response. No its ahead still by 5 mins. I'm drawing the 17:55 candle at 17:52.

        Hello terribletrader,

Thank you very much for your reply!

Is it possible the PC's time is offset? This could cause an offset on the chart as well.

To check/synchronize your PC's time, please right-click the time in your notification bar and select "Adjust time/date"

You should then find a "Synchronize your clock" option therein. Does this resolve the issue?

After updating the time, please also right-click the chart and select "Reload all historical data", this ensures the displayed data is correct.

Please don't hesitate to let me know, should this not resolve the issue!

It's not my time because my other charts are aligned. It has to be something with this one chart. I'm confused as well.

            Hello terribletrader,

Thank you very much for your reply.

Could you send me your log & trace files? I'd like to take a look at whether the platform reports any errors or issues that would explain this behavior.

You can do this by going to the Control Center -> Help -> Email Support

Please select "Platform Technical Support" as the recipient and enter a brief "ATTN Manfred" note in the message.

Thank you in advance, I look forward to your reply!
