SuperDOM version 8.1.2.0 issue

I have updated my Ninjatrader version to 8.1.2.0 64-bit.



Why i dont have SuperDOM new columns : Pulling/Stacking column and Recent column?

Hello badbess,

Can you please right click in the SuperDOM and select 'Columns'. This will open a new window to add the columns you like. You should have these columns present in the Available box.

This is only columns I got in SuperDOM columns selection as you can see.

All other new features apparently working ( Feature #2894, etc.)

Can you please check if you have these columns present when running NinjaTrader Desktop in safe mode. Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader Desktop from:

• Loading workspaces.
• Connecting on start-up.
• Loading custom assemblies.
• Getting instrument updates from the server.

To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:

• Shuw down NinjaTrader Desktop
• Hold the Ctrl (Control) key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
• Keep the Ctrl (Control) key held down until you see the Log In window.
• You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.

Please don't save the workspace when you exit or else it will overwrite the workspace.


In addition, please send me an email from within NinjaTrader Desktop as per the instructions below, so I can investigate.

• Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support
• Set the To field to Platform Technical Support
• Enter "Att Jason, 04119056" in the "Subject" field
• Let me know if the issue persists in safe mode under 'Please enter any information that you feel will help us resolve your inquiry'.
• Make sure "Log and trace files" is enabled
• Click Send

I have used safe mode and it was there to select in column section.

After I turned on NT with Normal mode and there was some problems with my indicators.

I had to compile all Script Editor and got following error :

Time Category Message 29/10/2023 13:37:05 Default Error compiling import assembly: error CS1705: Assembly 'BuySell' with identity 'BuySell, Version=1.3.0.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' uses 'mscorlib, Version=65535.65535.65535.65535, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' which has a higher version than referenced assembly 'mscorlib' with identity 'mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'

If I remove manually from NT folder some indicators ,- compilation works, if I try to add back some indicators I'm getting same error. I have to add them manually to NT folder for it to work, but after I cannot add more scripts through NT and remove assembly doesn't open due to error. That means every time i have to manually now remove those indicators -> compile other indicators or add new ones and after add manually that old indicator to NT folder.

I tried to search on forum regards this CS1705 error but there was nothing.

Also, after safe mode there was no custom indicators at all when opened Normal NT mode, i had this error with all indicators :

Time Category Message 29/10/2023 12:50:51 NinjaScript Failed to restore Indicator 'NinjaTrader.NinjaScript.Indicators.OpenRangeIndic ator'. Most likely (a) the implementation changed or (b) one or more properties have been renamed or removed or (c) the custom assembly which implements this Indicator no longer is there.

After i compiled indicators appeared to select in chart, but had that CS1705 error afterwards.

P.S. But now i have selection of SuperDOM new columns in NT normal mode, but with above indicator issues, which I never had before.

It is as expected that 3rd party add-ons (custom assemblies) are not loaded in NinjaTrader Desktop when running in safe mode.

Can you please post a screenshot of the compiling error you get. You find the compiling error at the bottom of the NinjaScript Editor after you compile. Please widen the NinjaScript File and Error columns so most information can be seen.
