Display Name (Nickname) Not Displaying Properly

    Display Name (Nickname) Not Displaying Properly

    A few weeks ago I had to uninstall and reinstall NT8 desktop. My Sim accounts have the right display name but my live account doesn't show the right "Nickname" anymore.

    I went into my NT web dashboard to make sure the Nickname was still there and I even re-entered and saved the Nickname.

    However, my display name for the live account still shows "account#!Mirus!account#".

    How do I update this on the desktop to show the Nickname instead of my account number and whatever "!Mirus!" is?

    Please email us your log and trace files right from the NinjaTrader platform (by going to Help-> Email Support), plus attach a screenshot of what you see, so we may investigate this matter further. Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

      There's to connection types in NT desktop. NinjaTrader and NinjaTrader continuum. They each display the nickname differently. The !Mirus sounds like NinjaTrader Continuum, so try the other NinjaTrader connection type (same login as the website)

        backtester831 Thanks, but that didn't work either. Now the live account won't show under the account tab at all. Although its showing in the ATM dropdown and under the Filter dropdown under account properties.

        All the sim and demo accounts show now.

        Updated -- I figured it out.. there was an extra setting under the connection settings that needed to be updated to Live.
