    Trading Hours

    Hi, I have a 1-minute NQ chart, with Trading hours set to "Use instrument settings". With Current Day OHL indicator, it's showing the trading hours opened at 12am. Shouldn't this be 6pm yesterday?

    Thank you for the message.

    It is possible the default trading hours template for the NQ has been changed to a different one.
    • Or, the Trading Hours template that is being used has had its hours modified.

    Go to the Control Center > Tools > Instruments > Search for the NQ > Double-click the result to open its settings > What is the default Trading Hours Template assigned here?
    • Now, go to the Control Center > Tools > Trading Hours > Select the specific Trading Hours template from the list > Check the times that are defined.

    From here, either change the default template that is selected or modify the trading hours template times as desired.


    Or, if you just want to reset all the Trading Hours templates:
    • Go to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management > Expand the "Update trading hours templates" section > Check both boxes > Click Update.

      OK I went ahead and reset all of them via database management. It's still showing "Default 24 x 7" as the Trading hours for NQ. Shouldn't it be changed to "CME US Index Futures ETH"?

        Thank you for the message.

        My apologies as I forgot to add resetting the Instruments to have it reset the defined Default Trading Hours Templates.
        • Go to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management > Expand "Update Instruments" > Check the box next to "General Properties > Click to Update.
        • Restart NinjaTrader after it finishes for the changes to fully take effect.
        Now, you could go in and double-check that the Trading Hours template has been reverted to the default.

        If not, you could just manually select your desired Trading Hours template that you want to be there for that instrument.
