Ruler that shows number of ticks as we drag the mouse

Currently we can see the number of ticks between two points only after we click the mouse the second time. Is it possible to have the ruler show the number of ticks dynamically as we drag the mouse, like many other platforms? If it's not possible do you know any third party ruler that does this? I could not find it in the ecosystem.

Thank you for the message.

Unfortunately, we are not aware of a 3rd party add-on that does this so you would have to do some more internet searches and keep looking to see if something like that already exists.

We do have a Feature Request already created to improve and add some additional functionality to the Ruler Drawing Object so I will add your vote and suggestion to that for further consideration.
