connect apex to nt7

How can I connect apex funding rithmic account to nt7? there is no server available. Id much rather use nt7 than nt8.

You can't.

Apex no longer supports connections from NT7.

This was an Apex decision, not a NinjaTrader decision.

Awhile back, Apex paid Rithmic to setup a special server
just for Apex customers -- on NT8, you must specify the
system name 'Apex' when defining the Connection.

It is through this special server that NT7 connections
are denied.

How so?
This special server name 'Apex' was never added to the
dropdown list of Rithmic servers on NT7. Therefore, all
previous system selections -- I was last using the system
named 'Rithmic01PaperTrading' -- were updated to no
longer accept any Apex customer connections.

The only Rithmic server that accepts Apex connections
is the system named 'Apex', and this new system name
is only available on NT8.

Thus, you are out of luck.

Ideally, this is more a question you should ask directly
to the Apex support folks.

No doubt you will be politely reminded that if you wish
to use Apex Trader Funding, you will need to upgrade
to NT8.

Now, why did Apex specifically decide to drop NT7?

I suspect the answers are relatively simple:

Because most of their customers were already on NT8.
Because most of their products only worked with NT8.

And the biggest reason is probably:

Because they could.

(They had to pay Rithmic for the special server, but
nonetheless -- the decision was theirs.)

I still see that as a dropdown option in my NT7.
