My demo expired after my desktop program wouldn't allow me to sign in till i turned off 2-step auth and even then i can't add sim accounts as in the account tab right click doesn't even show up?

However, for your inquiry about not being able to create Simulation accounts, you will need to ensure you have enabled 'Multi-Provider Mode'.
