POC Drawing Tool Calculation

Hi there,

I am working on a strategy that uses the POC, VAL and VAH as targets. However, I am trying to understand what the difference is in the calculations between the Order Flow Volume Profile indicator and the Order Flow Volume Profile drawing tool.

With the Order Flow Volume Profile drawing tool, what is the volume area anchored to? How does the drawing determine where to start the volume calculation for the POC, VAL and VAL?

Thank you for your post.

The Order Flow Volume Profile Drawing Tools uses the 1-session Profile Period.

The session being displayed will also depend on how many bars from the session are included in the range of the drawing tool.

If over half are from the current session the current session values will appear or vice versa when including the previous session bars.
