after the last windows 11 update DCOM service went crazy with NT

    Dear NT support,
3-4 days ago there was a cumulative update of windows 11 (10-2023)
NT is now affecting this service causing up to 100% CPU usage, and has become unusable

    do you have any advice?

    Hello,
    Thank you for your post.

Based on your screenshot, NinjaTrader is only using 8.3%. You would need to reach out to a PC tech for assistance with your Operating System settings. You can also try reaching out to Microsoft for assistance.

    Thank you!

      Hi Oxana,
no, according to the behavior this service consumes less than 1% when NT is off, only when NT is running does this service go to ****. Especially when a quick update of the zoom/scroll screen or some indicators is needed. On the MS help desk they write there, in most cases it is caused by third-party software.

        Hello,
        Thank you for the note.

I've just verified with my Manager on that and we haven't received any reports of this from other users at this time, so the issue seems specific to your PC/installation.

You can try testing NinjaTrader in a safe mode. Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
        • Loading workspaces and connecting on start-up.
        • Loading custom assemblies (3rd-party add-ons and NinjaScripts)
        • Getting instrument updates from the server
To open the platform in Safe Mode:
        • Go to the Windows Start Menu
        • Search for NinjaTrader > select 'NinjaTrader (Safe Mode)'
        • Once you have opened the platform in Safe Mode, you may manually connect to your Data Provider from the Connections dropdown
Let us know if you have any further questions.

unfortunately I didn't find a solution, only reinstalling the whole PC helped, which was a real pain
