Take profit when an ATM is in play

Hi,
I use the ATM function for my trading on NT8. But recently i wanted to manually take profit. I was worried that by clicking on "Close" in the chart trader window, i would cancel the order rather than take profit. I have had a look around for confirmation on how to take profit when in a live trade situation, but cant find the advice i am looking for. Can you help? thanks.

Thank you very much for your post.

The "Close" button will first cancel all open orders, before submitting a market order to close your current position.

This means after a Close, the selected instrument will always be flat.

Please note that if you are in two or more ATM strategies, it would also cancel these strategies.

If you only wish to cancel a single ATM strategy, my suggestion would be to click the X next to either order (as this would cancel both orders) before submitting a close order of your choice manually, or by moving one of the targets to the current market price to trigger an execution.
