    Hello williamad1,

Thank you very much for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

The easiest way to trade a second instrument from the same chart is to add the instrument using the Data Series.

As only charted instruments can be traded, you can then switch between all available instruments on this chart.

If you do not wish to see the second chart, you could then minimize it without losing the ability to pick this instrument.

I've created a brief demonstration of this procedure, you may find it below:

Please don't hesitate to let me know, should you have any further questions.

      Hi Thank you Manfred.

is that mean i have load all my set indicator on both chart?

what i am trying to do is using NQ sourced indicator to determine entries and only placing mnq trades to manage risk

        Hello williamad1,

Thank you very much for your reply.

You would not have to add indicators to both charts. In this case, I would add the MNQ chart and minimize it before working exclusively with the NQ chart.

As long as the MNQ instrument is selected in the "Instrument" dropdown menus, all orders will be sent to it instead.

Please don't hesitate to let me know, should you have any further questions!

            Hello williamad1,

Thank you very much for your reply.

You would only see the orders on the chart of the instrument it has been submitted for.

If you would like to also see the trade executions, the easiest way would be to display both charts within the same panel, before turning the MNQ transparent. This would show the MNQ orders on the NQ chart.

I have recently recorded a video that demonstrates how to turn a Data Series transparent and display it on the same panel. While this video was made with the intention of having an indicator on a different timeframe or instrument (e.g. to show an NQ indicator on the MNQ chart), it would also apply in your case. You may find this video below:

            Indicator on invisible data series

Of course, please don't hesitate to let me know, should you experience any issues or would like further assistance!

When using a multi data series chart if the data series do not use the same interval you can see gaps within the chart as opposed to equal distance and unfortunately there is not a workaround when using this configuration.

To view indicator values for NQ and trade MNQ without having the gaps I suggest creating two charts one for each symbol.
