NT 8 initiated TWS and autologins and TWS logins successfully. However, the yellow dot on the bottom left wont turn green and NT8 is not able to pull the IB account numbers and balances, meaning API is not able to make the connection. I tried so many things and nothing is working out. Here is what I tried so far:
- Ensured .Net 4.8 is installed.
- Ensured Correct port number 7496 and logon path for TWS in NT8 connection settings.
- Deleted Jts folder and made fresh installs of current version of TWS, prior version of TWS, and beta version of TWS. The issue persisted regardless of which version of TWS is being used.
- Tried NT8 8.0.27.1 as well as NT8 8.1, along with the one I am using which is 8.0.28.0. The issue persisted.
- Mine is IB advisor account with sub accounts. The log does not complain anything about other accounts but says “no position info is received for account UXXXX because the account application is processing”. But, it does not complain anything about other accounts. There are no Error messages other than that the yellow dot remains and it also shows yellow dot in “connection” with “disconnect” next to it.
- None of the accounts from IB TWS are available in NT8 accounts tab
- I use Kinetic for data and NT8 connects to Kinetic fine and gets data and shows green dot for that connection immediately.
- I have tried this on two different VPS servers and the issue persisted and replicated.
