Live position is not executed when ninjiatrader is closed

I closed my ninjiatrader 8, and keep the order live with OCO stop order and limit order in MES.
When the stop order is hit by market, it didn't take my position out.

Is there any configuration that I need to set in ninjiatrader 8, so it will take out my position when ninjiatrader is closed?

    Hello kevinzh1884,

Thank you very much for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

Is it possible you are connected to a Rithmic-based account? Rithmic does not support native OCO. This means if NinjaTrader Desktop is shut down, both exit orders can execute.

Further information in this regard may also be found at the bottom of our Connection Guide:

The only option to avoid this would be to either use an account that is not Rithmic-based or leave NinjaTrader Desktop running.

Please don't hesitate to let me know, if you are not using a Rithmic-based account or have further questions in this regard!

      Is that a typo?

        Hello bltdavid,

Thank you very much for your post.

Rithmic does not support native OCO (you may also find this information in our Connection Guide below):

Critical: The OCO (one cancels other) functionality of Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage is locally simulated on your PC. This means that NinjaTrader must be connected to your broker in order for the OCO capability to function. If you are disconnected and one of the orders defined in the OCO function is filled, the other WILL NOT be cancelled.

This means that if NinjaTrader Desktop is disconnected or loses the connection, both of the OCO-connected exit orders (Stop Loss and Profit Target) could be filled, as the second order would not automatically cancel. NinjaTrader Desktop needs to be running and connected to the account to cancel the second order.

Please don't hesitate to let me know, should you have any further questions!
